Paleosuchus is a South American genus of reptile in the family Alligatoridae. They are the smallest members of the order Crocodilia in the Americas.[1] The genus contains two species:[2]
- Cuvier's dwarf caiman - P. palpebrosus
- Smooth-fronted caiman - P. trigonatus
