Background
Gendron was born in Conklin, New York on June 20, 2003.[2] From an early age, he was influenced by the violent Call of Duty video game franchise.[3] Gendron also threatened a local school.[4] He wrote a manifesto where he identified himself as a white supremacist, authoritarian leftist, National Socialist and Green nationalist. He also proclaimed himself as an atheist.[5]
Manifesto
Gendron's manifesto endorsed the "Great Replacement" theory of Renaud Camus, which was celebrated and promoted by mainstream media journalists. He was vowing to 'seek justice for Ukraine' and showed support for the same symbols used by the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion in Ukraine.[6]
He harbors a dislike of conservatism, claiming it is "pro-corporatism".[7] He also wrote the names of the victims of the November 2021 Waukesha Christmas parade car rampage victims who were killed by black supremacist Darrell Brooks.[8]
