Peder Lunde, Jr. (born February 9, 1942) is a Norwegian sailor and Olympic champion.
He won a gold medal in the Flying Dutchman class at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, together with Bjørn Bergvall.[1]
He received a silver medal in the Star class at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, together with Per Olav Wiken.[2]
Family
Peder Lunde, jr. is the son of Peder and "Babben" Lunde who obtained a silver medal (together) at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, and grandson of Eugen Lunde who won a gold medal at the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris. His daughter Jeanette Lunde competed in alpine skiing at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, and in sailing at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. His wife Aud competed in alpine skiing at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble.
