Recalled to Life is the fifth studio album from punk rock band The Deadweights.[citation needed] The album was released February 11, 1997 on Reprise Records,[citation needed] almost 10 years after the band's previous release. The album was the first since the band's 1995 reunion. It was produced by Daniel Rey[citation needed] (The Ramones, The Misfits) and co-produced by the band. The title is a reference to the novel A Tale of Two Cities. "Opium of the Masses" and "In the Modern Era of Chaos" were released as singles.[citation needed]
