St. Andrew's Cathedral of Saint Andrew Apostle in Kronstadt is a Russian Orthodox cathedral built in 1805–1817, dedicated to the patron saint of the Russian Navy. It was designed by Andreyan Zakharov. St. Andrew's Cathedral was destroyed under the Soviet regime in 1932. It was well known to Russian Orthodox believers because Saint John of Kronstadt, one of the greatest saints of Russian Orthodox Church, was working in it as a priest for a long time.[1]
