Saket Modi (ca. 1990/91[1]) is an Indian entrepreneur[2] and an ethical hacker.[3][4][5] He is the co-founder and CEO of Lucideus Tech,[6][7] an online cyber security company[8][9] that is involved in securing government and enterprise digital setups.[1][10][11] He has been awarded the title of "Indian Ambassador of Cyber Security in Education" by the Chairman of All India Council for Technical Education at the National Education Awards 2013.[12] In 2016 he was a part of both, Forbes India [13] and Forbes Asia[14] list of 30 under 30. He has been referred to as the "Indian Firewall"[1] and is a frequent technology writer[15][16][17] in the Indian media.[18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26]

He was a part of Government of India's committee constituted in 2014 for preparation of vocational course for the new sector "Cyber Security" for National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) under Ministry of Human Resource Development's body AICTE.[27] He was also a part of the core team that developed a smartphone privacy app - UnHack.[28][29][30]

Saket was born and raised in Calcutta. In the year 2009, he joined the LNM Institute of Information Technology, for Engineering as a Computer Science Major. Before starting Lucideus, Saket initiated his career by giving seminars and workshops on ethical hacking and cyber forensics across India with company named Techdefence.[31][32][33] His workshops with Techdefence gradually became popular, as a result of which he was invited to over a hundred colleges across the globe.[34] Some of the major Institutions who have hosted his workshops under Techdefence include IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, BITS Pilani, IIT Guwahati, Jadavpur University. Saket has trained more than 5000 students on Cyber Security.[35]

He is a regular speaker on various verticals of Information Security[36] and Entrepreneurship[37] at International Forums like CeBIT(Germany),[38][39] Confederation of Indian Industry,[40][41] Cyber Tech (Israel),[42] ASSOCHAM,[43] Data Security Council of India,[44] ISACA,[45] TiE,[46]TED (conference).[47]
