Shabir Isoufi (born 9 March 1992) is an Afghan footballer who plays for ASWH, as a midfielder. He was capped for the first time for Afghanistan in a World Cup qualification match against Cambodia as a 75th minute sub.

Career

Born in Kandahar, Afghanistan, Isoufi has played club football in the Netherlands for Feyenoord, Excelsior, Dordrecht, Telstar and Barendrecht. In 2011, Isoufi was the highest paid athlete from Afghanistan with an annual salary of $80,000 (USD).

He made three appearances for the Netherlands at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

ASWH

In June 2015 Shabir signed a contract with Hoofdklasse club ASWH.

International career

Shabir made his debut against Laos and scored the second goal in a 2-0 win. He also played against Cambodia and Singapore. He was invited for the 2015 SAFF Championship but was injured before the tournament started.
