St Andrews railway station served the town of St Andrews, Fife, Scotland from 1887 to 1969 on the St Andrews Railway and the Anstruther and St Andrews Railway.

History

The station opened on 1 July 1852 by the St Andrews Railway. The signal box was on the west side of the stone cutting. It became a terminus when the southern part of the line closed in 1965. The signal box closed in 1967 and the station closed, along with the line, on 6 January 1969.[1] There is a campaign to reopen the railway called StARLink.[2]
