Staines Lammas Football Club is a football club based in the town of Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey. The club is affiliated to the Middlesex County Football Association.[1] They play in the Combined Counties League Division One.

History

Staines Lammas FC was established in 1926. From 1927 they were members of the Hounslow & District League, finishing as Division II runners-up in 1929 and thus earning promotion to Division I. By 1932, they were members of the South-West Middlesex League Division I, and had added a Reserve team in Division II of the Richmond & Dictrict League. In 1936, Staines Lammas were finalists in the Staines Hospital Cup. A year later, the First Team finished as champions of the South-West Middlesex League Division I, to earn promotion to the Intermediate Division, where they remained at least until after World War 2. In 1955, the club also entered a side in Division I of the Staines & District League. By 1948, the Reserves had switched to the Hounslow & District League Division II.

Staines Lammas FC joined the Surrey County Senior League in 2002–03. The club then joined the Combined Counties Football League Division One in 2003, after the Surrey County Senior League amalgamated with that league. In the 2007–08 season, the club became champions of Division One, a title they retained in 2008–09. They entered the FA Cup for the first time in 2011–12 and reached the First Qualifying Round.[2]
