Tauche (Lower Sorbian Tuchow) is a municipality on both sides of the river Spree in the Oder-Spree district, in Brandenburg, Germany. The large municipality consists of 12 parts (German: Ortsteile) respectively villages with other local parts/settlements. The seat of the municipal administration is located in the namegiving village Tauche.

In Sabrodt was born in 1813 the Prussian Australia-explorer and naturalist Ludwig Leichhardt. Therefore the federal state of Brandenburg gave the village Trebatsch in 1998 the additional name „Leichhardt Gemeinde“ (German for: Leichhardt municipality).[2] In Görsdorf is living since 1969 the author Günter de Bruyn. In Kossenblatt is situated the castle „Schloss Kossenblatt“, which is said to have been the favourite palace of the 'Soldier King' Frederick William I of Prussia.
