Rear Admiral Anthony (Tony) David Radakin (born 10 November 1965) is a Royal Navy officer who serves as Chief of Staff, UK Joint Forces Command.

Naval career

Educated at the University of Southampton (LLB, 1989) and King's College London (MA, 2000),[1] Radakin gained his commission in the Royal Navy in 1990.[2] He went on to become commanding officer of the frigate HMS Norfolk in 2003, commanding officer of the US/UK Iraqi Naval Transition Team in 2006 and commanding officer of the US/UK Task Force Iraqi Maritime in 2010,[2] before becoming commander of HMNB Portsmouth in October 2011.[3] He was appointed Director of Force Development at the Ministry of Defence in November 2012,[4] Commander United Kingdom Maritime Forces in December 2014[2] and Chief of Staff, UK Joint Forces Command in March 2016.[5][4]
