Triplophysa siluroides is a large species of stone loach, which is endemic to the upper parts of the Yellow River basin in the Chinese provinces of Qinghai, Gansu and Sichuan.[1][2] It reaches up to 50 cm (20 in) in length and 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) in weight.[3] According to the Chinese Red List, it is a threatened species.[1][2]
