Voyage is a French television channel devoted to discovery and escape through travel. Owned by the Fox Networks Group since 2004, the channel's goal is to take its viewers around the world to live all possible travels to meet other cultures. Voyage aims to offer viewers a television that inspires them, a bubble of relaxation to make them want to escape out of the beaten path, to live experiments unpublished with always a lot of emotions, encounters, adventures, new flavors and breathtaking scenery.

The headquarters of Voyage occupies the former headquarters of La Cinq, at 241 boulevard Pereire in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.

History

Voyage was launched on Canal Satellite on 31 May 1996 as the reference documentary channel for discovery and escape. The channel was retaken in May 1997 by the Pathé group, which sold it in 2004 to Fox Networks Group.

Broadcasting

Voyage is available in France on Canal Satellite (channel 88), free (channel 62), Bouygues Telecom (channel 220), Orange (channel 122) and Numericable (channel 142), in Monaco on Monaco Telecom, in Belgium on BeTV, Proximus TV and Télénet, in Switzerland on Canal+ Switzerland and UPC Switzerland, in Martinique and Guadeloupe on Canal+ Caribbean, at Reunion Island on Canal+ Réunion, at Caledonia on Canal+ Caledonia and in sub-Saharan Africa on Canal+ Overseas.

Voyage is broadcast in high definition (HD) on Canalsat and Numericable. Since January 16, 2014, the channel is available free of charge in the basic package of Freebox[1]. Since February 2, 2015 it is available on Bouygues Telecom's Bbox. It is available on channel 199 of SFR since July 12, 2016.
