Westlake High School (New York)

Westlake High School is located at 825 Westlake Drive in Thornwood, New York. It serves the Mount Pleasant Central School District, including the hamlets of Hawthorne and Thornwood, and parts of the hamlet of Valhalla and the village of Pleasantville.

The campus of Westlake High School includes Westlake Middle School and the Mt. Pleasant Central School District's office.

Westlake High School and Westlake Middle School have seen big increases in student enrollment since 2006, and continue to grow every year.

In 2007, Newsweek named Westlake number 816 of their top 1000 public high schools in America. The school was rated number 173 in Newsweek's Top 500 High Schools of 2011.
