Wu Qiwei

Wu Qiwei (or Wu Chi-wei simplified Chinese: 吴奇伟; traditional Chinese: 吳奇偉; pinyin: Wú Qíwěi, Dabu, Guangdong, 1890–1953) was a Chinese military commander.

Military career

• 1937 - 1938 General Officer Commanding IV Corps
• 1938 - 1941 Commander in Chief 9th Army Group
• 1939 Deputy Commander in Chief 4th War Area, Deputy Commander in Chief 6th War Area
• 1942 - 1944 Commander in Chief Upper Yangtze River Defence Force
• 1945 - 1946 Chairman of the Government of Hunan Province
