Youssef Bejaoui (born 5 April 1986 in Edinburgh, Scotland) is a Scottish Junior footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper for SJFA East Premier League club Penicuik Athletic.

Career

Bejaoui left Whitehill Welfare to join senior side Cowdenbeath prior to season 2011-12.[1]

However, Bejaoui left Cowdenbeath in March 2012 to loan to Berwick Rangers before turning it into a permanent transfer at the end of the season.[2]

He was released by Berwick in January 2013 following their signing of Marc McCallum on loan from Dundee United.[3]

Bejaoui spent the 2013-14 pre-season on trial with SJFA East Premier League club Penicuik Athletic before joining permanently following the beginning the league season. Bejaoui helped the club win the Premier League championship in his debut season, and with it promotion to the Super League. He also won the Players' Player of the Year award.

His second season at Penicuik again saw him win personal honours, claiming both the Fans and Committee Player of the Year awards at the end of the season.

He was named Penicuik captain in August 2015.
