The African goshawk (Accipiter tachiro) is a species of bird of prey in the Accipitridae family.
Range
As defined here following the Handbook of the Birds of the World, it is found in Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Relationships
It is often considered conspecific with the Red-chested goshawk of western and central Africa.[2]
