Richard[1] "Bibi" Torriani (October 1, 1911 – September 3, 1988) was a Swiss ice hockey player and luger who competed from the 1920s to the 1950s.

Hockey career

Torriani won two bronze medals for Switzerland in ice hockey at the Winter Olympics, both in St. Moritz (1928, 1948). He also took the Olympic oath at the 1948 Winter Olympics. He also participated at the 1936 Winter Olympics, where the Switzerland's ice hockey team won one and lost two games in the first round and did not advance.

Luge career

In the 1950s, Torriani competed in luge, winning the silver medal in the men's singles event at the 1957 FIL World Luge Championships in Davos, Switzerland.
