Cornelis ("Cor") Pot (born 8 June 1951 in The Hague) is a Dutch football manager and former footballer. His last work was on Dutch national under-21 team. He was dismissed after the elimination from 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship, in the semifinals, and the subsequent criticizing from the coach of the senior team, Louis van Gaal.[1]

Playing career

He started his career with the academy of Sparta in Rotterdam, and subsequently moved to the Ajax academy. In 1980, Pot moved in the United States with manager Cor van der Hart and played for Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the NASL.[2]

Besides his native Dutch, Cor Pot speaks English, German.[citation needed]

He has two sons, both are football players.
