Georges Montefiore-Levi

Georges Montefiore-Levi (1832–1906) was a Belgian inventor of Jewish origin who invented phosphorus bronze.[1]
He was born in Streatham, UK. He was also an active philanthropist. He died in Brussels. One of Belgium's oldest engineering schools, the Institut Montefiore in Liège bears his name.
