Hello Internet is an audio podcast hosted by CGP Grey and Brady Haran.[1] It debuted in 2014 and currently has 64 episodes and 1 bonus episode.[2][3] The podcast peaked as the #1 iTunes podcast in the United Kingdom, United States, Germany, Canada, and Australia in February 2014[4] and was selected as one of Apple's best new podcasts of 2014.[5][6] The podcast is also known for coining the term "freebooting" as a more emotive word than "infringement" to describe the re-posting of online content by entities separate from the creator of the content, done typically in order to make money from advertisements on the content.[7][8][9] Episodes usually last from 1.5 to 2 hours.[10]

Popular media website TechCrunch commented on the Podcasts success saying, "these hosts don’t need Relay FM to thrive, they could successfully launch a show on their own. Grey had already launched a popular podcast with Brady Haran called Hello Internet."[11]
