Jose D. Aspiras

Jose D. Aspiras (c. 1922 - November 14, 1999) was a Filipino politician. He was a member of Ferdinand Marcos's cabinet and was responsible for the designation of Agoo as a first class municipality. He is currently interred in the Agoo Basilica in the municipality of Agoo, La Union, Philippines.

The Agoo-Baguio Road, situated in the Province of La Union Region 1, is named the "Jose D. Aspiras Highway" in his honor.[1]
