Keeping Up with the Joneses is an upcoming 2016 American comedy film directed by Greg Mottola and written by Michael LeSieur. The film stars Jon Hamm, Zach Galifianakis, Gal Gadot, Isla Fisher and Maribeth Monroe. The film is scheduled to be released on October 21, 2016 by 20th Century Fox.
Premise
A suburban couple becomes embroiled in an international espionage plot when they discover that their seemingly perfect new neighbors are government spies.

Production
In March 2014, it was announced Greg Mottola would direct the film from a screenplay by Michael LeSieur, with Fox 2000 Pictures having their eyes set on Jon Hamm, and Zach Galifianakis star, while Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald would produce under their Parkes + MacDonald Image Nation banner, and Marc Resteghini serving as an executive producer.[1] In October 2014, Isla Fisher joined the cast of the film, also confirming the casting of Hamm and Galifianakis.[2] In February 2015, Gal Gadot was in negotiations to star in the film.[3] In April 2015, Maribeth Monroe and Matt Walsh joined the cast of the film.[4]
Filming
Principal photography on the film began on April 20, 2015 in Atlanta, Georgia.[5][6]
Release
The film was originally scheduled to be released on April 1, 2016.[7] It was pushed back to October 21.[8]
