Kiyone Station (清音駅 Kiyone-eki?) is a train station located in the district of Tsukubo, city of Sōja, Okayama Prefecture, Japan.

The station is located in the former village of Kiyone, a village which was merged with the expanded city of Sōja in March 2005.

Lines

History

  • April 1987: Japanese National Railways is privatized, and Kiyone Station becomes a JR West station
  • January 1999: Ibara Railway's Ibara Line opens with service connecting Sōja, Kiyone, and Kannabe Stations
  • Spring 2007: Automatic ticket gates will be installed and begin being used
  • Summer 2007: The ICOCA card is scheduled to be accepted
