Nepenthes halmahera is a tropical pitcher plant native to the island of Halmahera, North Maluku, Indonesia.[1] It has thus far only been recorded from the Weda Bay Nickel Project concession area, where it grows in open areas on ultramafic substrates at 10–760 m above sea level.[1][2] The type specimen used to be regarded as an aberrant representative of N. danseri.[1]
