Career

Nili Brosh is a professional guitarist and songwriter. Nili was born and raised in Rishon LeZion, Israel. She was always inspired by her older brother Ethan Brosh's passion for music and the guitar. She moved to Boston, Massachusetts with her family at the age of 12, where she began studying electric guitar and eventually went on to study at Berklee College of Music.[1] At Berklee, Nili studied and performed with the school’s premier guitar teachers, Don Lappin, Jon Finn, Joe Stump, and Scott Tarulli.

Nili graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2009 with a B.M in Professional Music, and she also became one of the youngest faculty members in the Berklee summer guitar programs, where she has been teaching since the age of 19. While studying Nili posted her first YouTube video which has received more than 180,000 views.[2] Nili has performed with Stuart Hamm, Andy Timmons,[3] The Iron Maidens,[4] The Aristocrats and Guthrie Govan,[5] and opened for artists Terry Ilous (XYZ), Joey Molland (Badfinger), and Pat Travers.

In 2010, Nili self-released her debut instrumental album, Through The Looking Glass, which features guitarist Andy Timmons as a guest soloist, and the rhythm section of her own Nili Brosh Band.

In January 2011, Nili joined the progressive metal band Seven the Hardway,[6] which features guitar virtuoso Tony MacAlpine, drummer Virgil Donati and renowned vocalist Mark Boals. Nili was also asked to join Tony MacAlpine's touring solo band along with bassist Bjorn Englen and drummer Aquiles Priester. The MacAlpine band toured America and Europe, including Moscow[7] in Russia and Nili continues to tour with the MacAlpine band whilst working on her second solo album.

In April 2013 Nili joined the Ethan Brosh Band as second guitarist, opening on Yngwie Malmsteen's tour of USA and Canada.[8] In September 2013, Nili joined Vigilant,[9] with Jon Reshard on bass (Greg Howe), Chloe Demetria on vocals (Bow Wow Wow), and Padget Nanton III on drums.

In August 2014 Nili joined Tony MacAlpine's band for the Maximum Security tour.[10]

Nili has endorsements with Inspire Guitars,[11] Ibanez Guitars,[12] Xotic Effects, EMG Pickups[13] and Peavey Amps.

Nili Brosh has appeared in mainstream media and online guitar blogs, including Guitar World,[11] Japan's Young Guitar magazine,[14] America,[15][16] Italy,[17][18] Canada,[19] Australia[20] Indonesia[21] and the UK[6][22]
