The Pétillon metro station is one of the Brussels metro stations on the eastern branch of line 5. The metro station is located in the municipality of Etterbeek. The station was opened in 1976 and is named after Major Pétillon, a Belgian colonial pioneer who died in Etterbeek in 1909.[1] The station underwent an 18 month, 6.3 million euro renovation ending in April 2008.
The station is also visited by tram lines 7 and 25.
