Rappa Ternt Sanga is the debut studio album by American rapper, singer-songwriter and record producer T-Pain; it was released on December 6, 2005. The title is a dialectal pronunciation of the phrase "rapper turned singer."

One of the leftover tracks from the album was, titled "You and Me"; which is the original version of "I Can't Wait" by Akon.[1] The remix to "Studio Love" was made featuring Lil Wayne. The remix to "Dance Floor" was made featuring Pitbull.

Commercial performance

The album has sold over 800,000 copies worldwide in the United States. T-Pain's album had a two US Billboard top ten hits with "I'm Sprung" and "I'm 'n Luv (Wit a Stripper)". Other tracks on the album include "I'm So High," a song about the use of recreational drugs. Rappa Ternt Sanga debuted at number 40 on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 47,000 copies in the first week, and fell fifty places to number 91 next week; over the following weeks it eventually climbed to number 33.
