Ritsuo Hosokawa

Ritsuo Hosaka (細川 律夫 Hosaka Ritsuo?, born August 8, 1943) is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Agawa District, Kōchi and graduate of Meiji University, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1990 as a member of the Japan Socialist Party after unsuccessful runs in 1983 and 1986. In 1996 he participated in the formulation of the DPJ.
