The Senegal gerbil or Senegal tateril, Taterillus pygargus, is a species of gerbil found in Niger, Senegal, possibly Gambia, possibly Mali, and possibly Mauritania. Its natural habitats are dry savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, arable land, pastureland, and rural gardens.
