William "Bill" Schaake (born c. 1929) is a former American football and basketball player and coach in the United States. He served as the head football coach at Minot State Teachers College, now Minot State University in 1965, and at Washburn University from 1967 to 1968, compiling a career college football record of 7–18–1.

Coaching career

Schaake was the 29th head football coach for Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas and he held that position for two seasons, from 1967 until 1968. His overall coaching record at Washburn was 2 wins, 16 losses, and 0 ties. This ranks him 36th at Washburn in terms of total wins and 39th at Washburn in terms of winning percentage.[1]
