Ralph Brown (born c. 1925) is a former American football player and coach.

Playing career

Brown played fullback in 1946 at Oklahoma A&M. The next year he transferred to the University of Kansas to play center. He did not play his last two years of college because of a back injury.[1]

Coaching career

After working in the high school ranks and as an assistant coach in college, Brown was the 26th head football coach for Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas and he held that position for three seasons, from 1959 until 1961. His overall coaching record at Washburn was 9 wins, 18 losses, and 0 ties. As of completion of the 2006 season, this ranks him 16th at Washburn in terms of total wins and 27th at Washburn in terms of winning percentage.[2]
