Ivo Daneu (born October 6, 1937) is a retired Slovenian basketball player and coach.
He played for Branik Maribor (1949–1956) and AŠK Olimpija (1956–1970), won Yugoslav league in 1957, 1959, 1961, 1962, 1966 and 1970).
He played 209 games for Yugoslavia national team from 1956 to 1970, winning World Championship in 1970, silver medal at 1968 Olympics, silver medals at World Championships in 1963 and 1967 (he was voted the tournament's MVP in 1967), silver medals at European Championships in 1961, 1965 and 1969 and a bronze medal at European Championship in 1963. He was voted Best Sportsperson of the Year in Yugoslavia in 1967.
He coached AŠK Olimpija (1970–1971) and Rudar Trbovlje (1976). He was named one of FIBA's 50 Greatest Players in 1991. He was enshrined in the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2007.
