Between 1950s and 1970s, Morocco sent delegates to major international pageants such as Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss International pageants. In 1956 Morocco debuted at Miss World and stopped to compete in 1968. In 1957, Morocco debuted at Miss Universe until 1978 and in 1960 Morocco debuted at Miss International until 1969.
