Patrick G. Kenelly (October 7, 1922 – December 12, 2000) was the eighth head football coach for the Southeastern Louisiana University Lions located in Hammond, Louisiana and he held that position for seven seasons, from 1965 until 1971. His coaching record at Southeastern Louisiana was 25 wins, 43 losses, and 0 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him fifth at Southeastern Louisiana in total wins and tenth at Southeastern Louisiana in winning percentage (.368).[1]

Kenelly also coached the Lions baseball program. He was the longest tenured coach in program history, and Southeastern Louisiana's baseball facility, Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field, is named for him. The diamond was dedicated on February 19, 2006.[2]
