Miss World 1953, the third edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 19 October 1953 at the Lyceum Ballroom in London, UK. 15 contestants competed for the Miss World title. The winner was Denise Perrier, who represented France. She was crowned by Miss World 1952, May Louise Flodin of Sweden.
